someone is tryin to sell me some cams out of a 2001 itr he says the cam profiles of the 2001 itr cams are the same at the ctr cams...he says they are more aggressive than the 98 itr cams...anyone know if this is true?

any help is appreciated

 

he is telling the truth. 00-01 itr cams are the same as ctr.

It's somewhat true. The 2000-2001 ITR EXHAUST Cam is the same as the CTR Exhaust cam. Intake Cams are different. The CTR cam is slightly more agressive than the ITR Intake cam.

 

00-01 ITR cams are the same as CTR cams..any year lower the CTR intake cam has a 3 degree more duration then the ITR intake cam

hey sorry i wasnt tryin to say you were going to rip me off...i just didnt know if they had the same profile and i wanted to check and make sure...beings that a guy told me that he had a manifold that would fit a gsr and an ls and it wasnt true...just checkin up you can never tell with some of the people that scam here on HT...ill email you

From my experience like someone said, exhaust cams are the same....the CTR intake cams are more aggresive by 3 points

 

That only applies to the 97-98 intake cams
