I can’t take pics of the driver side... that maroon door is a eye sore and i don’t wanna remember the car like that in the future lol

So it’s been a while since i posted Bc I’ve been having a lot of issues with the car. Transmission kept on coming back from the shop with issue after issue. From not taking 3- reverse to not taking reverse to fork not lining up It was just issue after issue. It still is lol finally got the trans in last week and took. It the shop to put the exhaust up and now the rack seams shot And the electrical seams to have issues all over the place. Windows won’t go down and right side headlight won’t come on. I mean i expected electrical issues Bc the last owner cut so much worse up for no reason. But the best part is i get to the glass shop today at 430 to change the front window The guy pulls my window off and then realized he ordered a two door integra front glass and that is 2 cm’s off of a four door So i have to leave my car at his shop until he gets the glass put in. Smh.

Mounted my dB8 itr exhaust. Idk. I don’t love the fitment. Wonder if the shop didn’t do something right.

WEll process Is broken. Again. Rack is messed up and it broke my brand new skunk 2 control arms. I shoulda have it aligned but as i got it out my yard i went to change the glass and weld the exhaust and i didn’t even have the car on the road for 100 miles and the control arms broke. Smh. My fault there. I might even need a new rack and pinion too. Ugh

update; Turns our It was the ball joint that ran loose Bc i didn’t tighten it correctly and the top piece of the ballpoint fell off I’ll go to my local shop and get another balljoint this weekend. And I’m about to put the car on stands and go through the whole thing again. Smh. Learning lesson for sure for this noob =}

well that sucks, but that looks like it turned out as good as it could have, that could have ended up way worse.

Got the car back from the body shop. Happy with rust removal. Metal was added instead of just bondo Wish he primered more of the car but for the price i paid i can’t complain Next step is to replace the engine harness with a 01 type r harness and see why my mph and rpm isn’t working at all.

agreed I ended up replacing the original trunk lid and the ds door Bc the rust on the originals wasn’t worth it to fix even though i was trying to keep as much of the original vin as possible O well

I'm at that point too. i've already loss the vin on the front bumper because mine was wrecked. I dont want to lose the vin on the fenders, but there are so dinged up from years of leaning over them it would honestly be easier just to swap them out at this point lol

Did you end up getting the DB8 R exhaust fitment worked out? I'm looking at getting rid of my aftermarket exhaust and going to a DB8 R. I'm too old to be this loud now lol

no. I left it like this for now my registration is about to expire and since ny state won’t pass my car for emissions I’m going to take the plates off and take the swap apart and try and fix all the engine codes that are coming up Also thinking to do a abs removal and painting the bay one time while everything is out Then I’ll work on lining up the exhaust more closer to the bumper But tbh the type r exhaust is perfect sounding to me. My brother had it on his H2b swapped sedan and his piping kept on blowing though. He went to a bigger greddy exhaust with the same 3 inch popping and it’s crazy loud but he hasn’t had his piping by the exhaust blow since Idk i guess the type r exhaust was too small for that motor

Jezzzzz 3 months since i updated. Well i got the plates renewed but haven’t done anything to the car. There’s a leak on the interior and I’m trying to trace that I’ve deceided to sell the obd1 gsr swap and take the plates off and start a real build. Not rushed Going to do the engine bay right. And source a real type r swap. More updates to come but it’s going to slow down even more
