Default 2000 Integra Electrical issues

Ok everyone im looking at an integra thats a couple hours away. The guy says it runs just fine, but after a while (sometimes a couple minutes, sometimes 15) the abs light will come on and the car will lose power and die. My first thought is that its just the ignition switch. BUT that makes me wonder why the guy didnt just do a quick google search and pay 60 bucks for a new one. He claims the engine and tranny are good. Body is in pretty good shape too. Not perfect, but could be fairly easy. He wants 500 bucks for it. Am I missing something or is this an incredible deal? If its not the ignition switch or alternator then how much could it cost (max) to fix?

sounds like a super deal.
check voltage AND amperage of battery and alt.
check for corroded terminals AND ground cables.
with key in ignition AND running jiggle key and raise tilt wheel then drop steering wheel down hard. if it shuts off your wiring or ignition is goofed.
