Default 1st Time Engine Build, NEED Help

Hey everyone! This isn't my first time building an engine, just first time for a Honda/Acura engine (2000 B18C1). The whole color-coded bearings is new for me, but I have it figured out.

I need your help please. Does anyone have some unused OEM bearings laying around?? I need a couple sizes for initial checking before I order full sets for the clearances I want. I'm looking for a GREEN & BLACK rod bearing, along with a BROWN & BLACK main bearing.

IM or reply of you can help me out, thanks.

You are supposed to measure the clearances.

I think the formula is

(2 x Bearings size) + crank diameter + clearance/tolerance = rod/main journal inside diameter

The crank diameter is measured using a digital micrometer, the main or rod journal dimensions can be measured using a digital dial bore gauge.

The difference is the thickness of your bearing+tolerance, depending on your build, you assume the tolerance and calculate the unknown 'bearing' thickness.

You don't really need anything other than your crank and your block+caps

I know the formula, but my mic's aren't accurate down to what I need for this application. They are accurate to 25 thousandths and when the difference from the tightest bearing to the loosest is less than that, it doesn't cut it. Instead of spending $$$ on new mic's that I won't use for years, I've decided to go the 'tried and tested' plastigage method.

That's why I'm looking for a couple spare bearings....so I CAN measure
