Never take the first offer insurance companies give you if it's not satisfying. Tell them to find you a replacement for that price and let the search begin

sorry for your loss

That’s true but then again they will take long time to give u your money and the difference would be $500-$700 more then what they offer you. it’s not worth it and I am happy with what they are giving me now and I need a car asap.

it has to be master keys. i was in a court appointed class today as part of punishment for DUI, one of the little sh1tbirds in my class was bragging about having "master keys" and how he could all sorts of cars to open and start by simply shaving down the keys. kid was probably only 17, hispanic. for the most part i tried to ignore him but i really wanted to let him know that if he tried to steal my car he would get an ar15 in his face.

at my old house in oakland we had 2 DAs broken into right in front of our house at 8pm while we were home, super quick. also had to be master keys because the car looked totally normal, just unlocked.

does anyone know how to thrwart shaved master keys?? can you change the whole locks out to newer ones?

i dont know if this thwarts the master keys but part of my restore job on the integra i bought in july was to change the door locks with non-factory lock cylinders and i changed the ignition entirely with a brand new setup, as well as shaving the hatch lock off completely.

it wasnt a master key. when i saw the car it looked like they turn the car on with a screw driver.
