1992 integra help ASAP
Trying to help my cousin out and see whats going on with his car. He has basically at stock 1992 integra automatic. We just recently changed the spark plugs, spark wires, tranny fluid, oil and starter. Couple weeks after all this the car seems to starve to accelerate. When we leave it on drive at a stop sign and accelerate slowly the car seems to not want to go and rpms jump up and down like it doesn't want to go anywhere or shift gears. What could be the problem?

Re: 1992 integra help ASAP
ummm.. a few things.. it may be the ignitor or the coil going out.. or, it may be a van leak.. or it may be cam timing (timing jumped a tooth)
sooo.. do this.. look thruogh the FAQ or a service manual, and look up how to test your distributor... then do that...
Check for vac leaks
do a compression test..
none of those are probably the issue, but at least you can rule out the motor
If i am not mistaken, the tranny is controlled via computer.. that may be an issue, as well...
how many miles on the car?
