ok im not sure what kind of engine it is. it says d16a1, its dohc out of ls integra. the valve cover looks like a b18, but my friend is buying the whole car for 300 with engine and all. i was just confused because it says d16a1. so what is it?
whatever it is its not vtec. thats why i thought it was a b18

yeh dude i dont get it, i looked at it and i thougght it said b16 but i wiped it off and it says d16a1. i dunno it runs great, and the guy said he was impressed on how fast it was when he drove it. just the auto tranny is slippin or something.

NO D16,....not B16...b16 is the ctr engine
D16 is the 89 integra ls/rs engine which is what YOU have
