Default 1989 ACURA INTEGRA code reader

Does anyone know where to buy an ECU code reader for an 1989 ACURA Integra?
Or perhaps an inexpensive place to get it read?

Thanks.

Thanks, but Autozone only does 1996 and up.

Thanks anyway.

just jump the wires, there's info on how to do that in the thread too.. it's free, unless you need to buy a paper clip

If it's like my '90 Prelude, there is a light on the ECU itself that flashes out the code... (it doesn't flash the code with the CEL in the gauge cluster)

Thanks for the information. I checked for the LED and found 9 flashes a pause and 9 more. I presume based on the code that it has to do with the no. 1 cylinder crank angle. I checked the connector outlined inthe Haynes manual (which also indicated Crank angle ) however the 2 contacts check out with 435 ohms within range and there is no ground short (no continuiaty between any of the 2 contacts specified. I guess the unit checks out. The manual said to go see the dealer if it passes and the check engine light for crank angle sensor still stays on. I guess that is what I will do unless someone else knows any tricks. One other thing I should mention is the that the check engine light comes on intermittently (about half the time). The car runs rough at partial throttle (just above idle) and the plugs are dark and apear carbonized. It seems like it is running on a rich mixture if I had to take my best guess. Anything else I should check before heading to the dealer and getting soaked?

Thanks for your input! Much appreciated.
