proper offset is determined by the width of the rims, not the diameter

for 7" wide rims, +42 is about right.
for 6.5" id go somewhere with +38-40

Well I'm using a offset of +42 with my 16"x7" rim and it's perfect IMO. What offsets do 16" slips come in?

The Slipstreams only come in +40 or +45 no in between. I run a +45 no problems or rubbing.

Of those 2 I would go with +45 as well
