**** 1998 integra gsr problem ******
Ok heres the deal, ive had the car for around 6 months now and havent had 1 problem with it. Its a pretty much stock well taken care of DC2. Yesterday I took it for a drive and noticed me temp gage was reading hot so I took it home quickly. When I got out of the car I noticed there was fluid all on my top hood, it was radiator fluid. I open the hood and steam is just flowing out of the radiator, and theres fluid all sprayed around it. After like 3 mins the steam stopped and the engine cooled down.
Then about 5 hours later I decided to take the car out again, the car didnt seem like it lost any power. About 5 mins into my ride I notice the temp gage is very hot again, I start heading home and it goes hotter and hotter and hotter. Next thing I know I am at a light and the temp gage is pinned at H, and smoke/steam is coming out of my hood. I make it home and I get the same thing, radiator fluid everywhere. I also notice that the radiator fan isnt working when I turn the car on( the one for the a/c is though ),
Any help or suggestions on what it might be? Im taking the car in Monday to a place I dont even trust that much and I hope they can fix it.

I had a very similar problem, my fan was put on wrong by the previous owner and the bolts wore a small hole in the corner of the rad and all my fluids ran out and the same thing happened the pinning to H and stuff. fill it up and check your drive way for small puddles

Re: (dunkwade)
did you find where its leaking from? check your engine grounds( valve cover, thermostat housing, and tranny.) My tranny ground was loose, and my fan didn't work...

Re: (egvtec)
if your having that much trouble trying to find the leak maybe you should bring it to a shop.
The fact that you drove it again 5 hours later without trying to fix the problem denotes some inexperience

Re: (Code Blue)
I had a problem something like that a few months ago, not as extreme though, when I got out of my car I would see drops of liquid underneath didn't realize it was coolant until like the 3rd time I rubbed my finger in it and took a smell, there was one day it was on my headlights, ichecked my resevoir and it was bone dry, I ended up replacing my radiator hose, upper and lower and my cars been running better ever since, so it was my radiator hoses, but you should check your radiator if you have puddles under your car.
