95 Del Sol "NO START" and cruise control problems
One of the #3 things to check in the list is the Ignition Output Signal which I already posted for you on the previous page of this thread. Can be found here, in it's full resolution post.

Tom: Would U please post page 11-22 for me. I've never had to pull codes & want to do it right. Plus I think it will help me understand a few of the other pages. Thanks Again for all this work. harley
I forgot to post the ignitor and coil test pages, it's part of the ignition tests that 11-30 reference at the end.
You can find them in this post.
Your engine number is stamped on a square plate on the front of the engine to the left of the exhaust manifold, where the block connects to the transmission.
On this thread the second picture in shows the D16Z6 stamp. You might have to clean the square stamp area off of oil and grime. Quite often it's totally covered with oil and dirt.
Also, you were thinking it may have to do with your ignition switch. I'm not really sure how it could be, but, here is the ignition switch tests page.

The ignition switch, the white circle part, can have the contacts burn up. It didn't matter how many times I clean that switch and put di-electric grease in there my sister would have starting problems. I ended up buying a new one and have not heard any complaints since. Thats about a yr ago.

In this instance the car always cranks, but doesn't fire when the fuel pump doesn't prime. Which sounds like a bad main relay but he has 3 relays now with no change in behavior. But then again, I haven't followed all the wiring of the ignition to know what systems it connects up to so it could be related.
I'm just now looking into the wiring of these older cars due to my wifes 93 hatchback having some rogue wiring. Following the helms on it isn't the most straight forward at times.

It only cranks because I installed a starter button. The ign switch stopped engaging the starter about 2 years back.

Tony: Do you have any advice/instructions on getting to the ign switch?? My experience with ripping into steering columns is usually not a good one. Thanks
That one item complicates things a fair amount.
Looking into the civic cruise control setup, there maybe a sub harness for you to contend with along with the SRS (if you have it) and the ignition wire harness and parts.
Also for the steering lock you have to drill out a couple of shear bolts and replace with new shear bolts. That's probably the most difficult part. I'm assuming it prevents easy removal of ignitions.
The civic pages may give you a better idea for your del sol.

Thanks TC....No Air Bag...I'm not in a position to deal with the car for a while. Sold my house & moving into a tin can for a while. It's on my mind alot & things keep popping into my head. The test that Ron had me preform for the ECU, Grounding the pin with the key on always energized the Fuel Pump. His comment after that test was that ECU is fried. Since the F/P always come on by grounding the pin does that mean the problem CAN NOT BE THE IGN SWITCH ??
I didn't see which pin he had you ground out. I hopped into this thread at the end when you requested a page on another thread.

That being said, it should be known RonJ knows these Honda electricals really darn well. I on the other hand have to stumble through it as I go.
I can solder a mean wire though.
RON J : What am I doing when grounding A7 ?? It's a keyed ground that work every time, so that tell me the Ing. switch is good correct ?? Thanks Harley
