Nice numbers man, looks like you have a nice healthy motor.

Is that DMT? I was there last week getting a baseline on my b16 from sitting all winter. I did 174whp and 112wtq.

What was your torque numbers? Do you have a pic of the graph?

mines not as impressive as some of these vtec guys but
Name: ghurleynewcam.jpg
Views: 610

F22A1 2207cc
86mmx95mm
3" ebay intake with k&n filter
68mm profesional products TB
h23 intake mani
mild ported head(no polish yet)
bisimoto reground cam with bisimoto valvesprings
stock block with block brace
arias 86mm 10.5:1
bisimoto billet steel I-beam rods
bisimoto header with lower pipe pinched almost shut(dont trust idiots on dynos)
2.5" kteller exhaust piping with 2 vibrant mufflers
chipped p06 tuned on crome
179whp/165wtq

i was told i need a bigger throttle body and a larger intake pipe diameter. i know for a fact it'll make more power once the lower section on the header is replaced also this was on 87 pump gas and outside temp was 87deg with 35% humidity and this car was on just regular mobile1. we've seen a 3-5whp increase on joe gibbs racing oil.

some questions tough:
what was done to the h23 mani? stock?
who ported the head?
wich stage bisi cams?

i'd say port the intake mani and repair the exhaust mani and aim for 200whp
the intake has been cut to 4 large holes instead of 8 small ones and port-matched to the throttlebody.

the head was hand ported by a local machine shop nothin special just opened up the exhaust side a little.

and it was a custom ground cam. between a level2 and 3. very similar to the 2.4 turbo cam but with different overlap.

here is a few pics of the header. it was completely pinched shut but then they rigged it and didnt even say anything to me. only way i found out was when i went to change my oil i was like WTF.
first off is at the collector this doesnt look that bad but trust me it is

how they tried to fix it, this restricts flow like crazy. its like turning a smooth bend into a brick wall.

and its bent on the top aswell where it hit the oil pan.

And it's leaking; you can see where the carbon is spitting out on that corner where it didn't get welded all the way from both sides. Looks like the header bottomed out and tore a hole, so a patch was put in place to me.

lol with an ej1 chassis i could do low 13's all day. unfortunately i have a cb7 which last weighed in at 2750 without a driver and a little under 1/2 a tank. so with me its over 2900lbs.

Very impressive track time. If you don't mind me asking what type of DYNO?
I have heard that going from 4.4 to 4.7 can be good for about 0.5sec drop. Did you ever run the car with the old trans?
I'm running ITR cams at my 190whp and have been wondering if I'm going to need a helmet at may track now in my full interior Integra, 2900lbs with me.

well heres my track setup...
2460 without me in it.
i ran 13.7 without the 4.7
it was a mustang dyno. and he added the 11.5% brake force to the dyno to compensate for the weight. im not sure if people normally do that or not... then i hear on top of that they read low. but w.e lol however when i changed for a 4.4 to a 4.7 i switched to a taller slick. i normally ran a 22inch DR but i ran a 23 inch slick. so i think it kinda evened out. but. the car has trapped 100 on the DRs and 4.4

question.. on my car. my timing maps. the last columns are 8" and .5 psi and my car only ever sees the 8" column. but i have 31.25 degrees of timing in there. the last column is 29 degrees. could i be having one extra timing column and may be running too much timing? the plugs looked like they were good. a pretty solid timing mark right at the curve of the groundstrap

I believe you that the dyno said those numbers but I also believe that whoever was running the dyno over corrected the numbers on it making the numbers higher than they actually are.
