1400-HP AWD Honda Civic Gets That Racing Channel’s Badge of Approval

In a recent That Racing Channel video, Javier takes a ride in a 1,400 HP AWD Honda Civic as the owner, Daniel ‘Frustrate EG’ Rodriguez, demonstrates the capabilities of his prized possession.

That Racing Channel sure knows how to find some high-octane performance machines. The channel has featured souped-up Honda Civics on many occasions, which can give even the most thoroughbred supercars a run for their money. The YouTube channel offers an in-depth look at a 1,400 HP AWD Honda Civic in one of its recent videos.

Daniel of Frustrate EG is the proud owner of this track monster and joins That Racing Channel’s Javier to discuss his extraordinary ride. Under the hood of this epic Civic sits a K24K 20 motor. The 2.4-liter powerplant hooks up to a 76 mm Garrett turbocharger. The powertrain runs on BP gas, and a 12-gallon mechanical fuel pump is also part of the ensemble.

With this kind of performance, one also has to take the proper measures to ensure the safety of the occupants. Therefore this 1400 HP Civic also has a roll cage. As a result, the hatchback weighs around 2,700 lbs. During its racing career, this track monster has outperformed many formidable competitors. Daniel’s fastest time in his beloved racer was 7.92 seconds, with an exit speed of 187 MPH.

Nitrous

Daniel usually sets the tires at 8 psi, both front and back, when launching the car. During a rolling race, the tires at the front are set at 12 psi and 16 psi at the rear. Javier musters all of his courage in the video and gets inside this savage machine. Even with 10 to 15 lbs. of boost to spare, this 1,400 HP Civic was one of the fastest accelerating cars featured in a That Racing Channel video.

Javier shared his thoughts on Daniel’s terrifyingly fast Civic. “I’m not gonna lie; my heart’s pumping a little from that one, shares Javier. He further adds, “Honestly, when I say this thing is terrifying because there’s just so much happening, so many raw sounds and the pure like the pure raw horsepower to weight is just insane, but it goes straight as an arrow.”
