Default tps and map problem?

i recently pulled out the chiltons and started checking my sensors with my multi meter because my car just isnt running right. so i check my map sensor and the green to yellow shows 5 volts but the green to white shows .6 volts so i replace the wire all the way to the ecu and still only shows .6 volts does this mean that my ecu is bad? also i hooked it up to my tps and my starting voltage with it all the way closed is .19 and with it all the way open is 3.8 does this mean my tps is short or it needs to be ajusted? any help would be graet thanks

not every wire is goinna get a 5 volt reference...sometimes you will get a sensor sensor wire and a wire with 5volt reference and then u'll have your ground...and voltage at close throttle is pretty low... but voltage at wide open throttle usually is around 4.2-4.3.... what kind of problems are you running into??

a number of things can cause a rough idle for example bad motor mounts... things can cause a misfire is is anything from a ****ed up cam or lifter, stuck closed injector, bad spark plug but if ur thearoy is bad ecu...switch it out with a friend and see what happens

you might need to adjust your tps i can tell that its not calibrated to the right specs according to your post. it should be 4.5 at WOT and .5 at closed if i remember right. search to make sure
