Dyno Test Results Boosted F22 5psi
OK i have tried the F22 Boosted for about a year on 2 Accords. I am now ready for the H22.

This test is done with the Cat installed.

This test is done with the Cat removed.
Much better.

The F22 can handle 5psi fine as an every day driver. I never brought it up any higher because It felt really nice at 5psi. So anyone interested in boosting the F22 its ok do it. I installed this Drag 4 kit on 2 different accords. With high miles.
4-Door 94 Accord EX VTEC 190k (when turbo installed)
2-Door 94 Accord EX VTEC 223k (when turbo installed)
I never did a compression test or anything like that. If the Engine doesn't smoke boost it. Of course it might be smart to get a compression test first so you know what your working with.
Tuning and Octane is the biggest issue in turbo charging the Accord. You have to use 93 Octane and anything over 5psi should be tuned.
I never tuned mine just kepted 93 octane in the tank.
Feel free to comment.

Yes stock internals with over 200k on the engine. I am using a vortex 12:1 FPR. This car isn't running. It was running a bit rich. No detonation here.

Re: (2.2L)
Vortex 12:1 FPR also 255 Walbro Fuel Pump. Drag says the car can run 6-8psi with there kit on stock everything except the fuel pump. I don't think so. I stay under 5 car runs like a champ very impressive.

Re: (abeaujuin)
It's funny how everyone is bragging about the H22 JDM.
A prelude was at the dyno with just bolton part,
cold air intake, headers etc..
Only 166hp to the wheels. He took me for a ride. That car took for ever to get to 80mph. It sounded great, but not worth getting one without a turbo installed.
I am going to put the H22 in my accord and drive it for 1 month until I get the money to get the manifold for the H22 I am going to hate it until I do.
For those that can't decide between H22 vs. F22 boosted,
H22 can't compare. As far as relieable. F22 boosted never let me down. I had it installed twice on two different cars with high milage. both cars still running till this day smoke free.

Re: (H22CB7)
i wouldn't personally call an fmu real fuel management...also, try dynoing again with a safe afr...see what it comes out to...you really are running dangerously lean there...
why don't you try going up to 8 psi and get an afc to tune instead...you should make some pretty nice numbers at that amount of boost...

Re: (secksiman19)
I am not spending anymore money on those temporary solutions.
I am moving over to the H22 with 440cc injectors, p72 ECU and a Hondata with the Turbo option. Then I'm getting it tuned to run correctly. 5 PSI as well.

Re: (abeaujuin)
Smart man. Why complicate a good setup? If he's got the urge one day maybe he'll boost it up. But those numbers on 5psi? That **** is fine with me. May I ask, if its an auto or a manual?
