mugen ecu questions
Who stocks them and how much? My car is lightly modded now....Intake, cat-back Fuel rail, FPR and soon header and cat...isthis the way to go. Money is somewhat of an Issue...would I be better with a rechip. I plan to do Spec B's in the fall. (Can't afford HOndata)

Re: mugen ecu questions (EagleR)
I have a Mugen ECU I might be willing to let go in a couple months.
Probably don't want it for anything but stock cams, w/cam gears and some more compression (CTR pistons).
Probably not something you'd want for the Spec B's though.
I'm leaving work for the evening. Later
BTW -- I paid full price for the ECU.
And, someone here recently made 208 hp ...EPG.

Re: mugen ecu questions (Zygspeed)
i would go with hondata, i had a mugen ecu and with my 12.5 cr i couldnt stop knocking on 93 octane, tuning with a vafc also. It is an ecu for a lightly modded car like yours with a slight compression raise(11.5 or so). Nice ecu, but much better off going with something else for the money

Yeah, what Bob said.
I'm running it on the street in my daily driver R at the moment, but boost is only a short while away in my case.
True, Mr Mugen Man (EPG) did his 208 hp on race gas!

Re: mugen ecu questions (Zygspeed)
So maybe I should do an OBD 1 conversion and get the spec B profiles put on....those are the cams I wanna do. Also Ti retainers upgraded valve springs, CTR pistons is the general direction I'm headed
