DPFI-MPFI B16... TPS question
i know in all the writeups it tells you too swap out the outside wires on the tps sensor.. but my b16 was missing the tps when i got it so i took the one off my old d15.
do i still need too swap out the wires if im using the d15 tps?

Re: DPFI-MPFI B16... TPS question (90civichbsi)
probably not, since the dpfi TPS sensor swings the opposite way, but it's going to be a pain to get it looking pretty with the TPS sensor facing the wrong direction.
I normally sell MPFI TPS sensors on ebay really cheap. Hit me up if you're interested.

Re: DPFI-MPFI B16... TPS question (90civichbsi)
The dpfi TPS is not going to work on a MPFI setup...
The reason the wires are switched is because the dpfi
unit works in the exact opposite direction:
You can physically bolt it up,But as stated before, the two units work in opposite directions of each other..
So you will be trying to turn the DPFI unit the wrong way..
The throttle plate will open about a quarter inch and thats it..
It will then bind and if more force is applied it will break..
In short,
The only application a DPFI TPS will work on is the DPFI throttle body..
