took the Hotrod to atco last night !!!!!!!!
whats goin on everyone. just wanted to update on whats going on with the hotrod coupe. . the car was just finished being built early 05. had the car on the dyno 3 times last year. and a total of 8 pass's down the track. with a best of 9.7@148 on an ls trans(bad idea) ........ /'05
begining '06 ....
this year seems to be getting off to a great one. with a few changes made in the "off season" which include a New tilton clutch, compliments of Boost-Fed. an NLR boost controller. and some saftey devices
we had the car on the dyno last week(thursday) and made 800+ to the tires with about 37-38PSI . went to cecil county on friday night. didnt make 1 clean pass, on the 2nd pass the battery came out of its tray and shut the car off. packed it in for the night.
come monday. ordered a new battery and re-mounted it. took the car to the track last night for some license runs, and more seat time. got 4 pass's out of the car(didnt break anything)
i belive the 1st pass was a 12.XX
2nd pas was a 10.2@111~
3rd pass--
60'...1.386
330...3.977
1/8...6.024
MPH...118.3
1000...7.769
1/4...9.484
MPH...120.95 (got off before traps)
4th pass:
60'...1.424
330...4.113
1/8...6.262
MPH...116.42
1000...7.970
1/4...9.382
MPH...154.56 (1.38 60ft) misssed the **** out of 3rd + ran out of rpm up top. seemed to be poping the limiter before the traps.
i will have the car owner post up the time slips and hopefully some video. the car is a bad ***.

9.3 is booking, sounds like there is even more in it with a harder 60 foot. Good job and good luck this season!

we are thinking the same thing. just need to get some more seat time in it, to get a better feel for the car. Steve says, its a real smooth ride, and you dont have to "beat up" on it at all.

we are going to do something. just not sure what yet. i dont know if we want to try more boost + lower the tire pressure. or just stick to adjusting one thing at a time. so we dont loose our ***'s on the adjustments. we had the tires @ 8/8.5

need some more rpm up top. either that or our ign system is crapping on us. i guess we will find out tommorrow.(going back to atco) quick 8 cars are running, so hopefully the track will be in good condition, and should have more heat in it than thursday night.

we would love to be able to travel. but not with our budget at the moment. still have the car on an open trailor + not many spare parts + we would need to take off from our full-time jobs to come out and play with the big boys. we are hoping to hit E-town may 6-7 and then atco the week after. we have always wanted to run with the big boys.
and to everyone else --> thanks for the support. we trying to run some #'s for you. just have to get everything all situated
