Engine noise. i got the cel code number.
http://www.s2ki.com/forums/ind...89959
link above describes what happen yesterday.
Today, I just recently did a cel code scan and found that my car was giving me these cel codes.
P0302
Cylinder #2 misfire detected
&
P1399
Manufacture Control ignition system or misfire
Can anyone describe these? im also off to honda tommorrow to check to see if i got the spark plug recall. since my car isnt under warranty and it does happen to be the spark plugs will they replace it? Ive read that you can tell you got the recall for spark plug done if they placed a sticker in your manual on the spark plug type, or if they dented a tiny dent above the 1 or i on the vin number of your car on the firewall.
I still havent done a leak down test, im waiting to see what recalls have been done. im pretty sure once i do that test i will get to see how the spark plug is and whether or not its giving the right compression.
Anyone else think of anything esle it could be? Any help would be appreciated.

i went to the extent and just tried to see if there was any oil on the spark plug wires. 4 & 3 were find. no matter how hard i tuged and pull'd. #2 didnt want to come out. could this cel code be a possibility?
P0302
Cylinder #2 misfire detected
#2 spark plug wire felt like it was welded on there. could it of possibily melted?
and #1 had oil all over the plug.

doesn't sound good at all. Is the car misfiring, rough idle etc? It could be several things but make sure if you go to the dealer, they don't charge you for looking over it. There might be a chance they can "good-will" some repairs. If the car was updated with the new plugs, it will be in the service history of the car.

It seems like it is. I had my spoon exhaust on there, n the sound was all over the place, you can even feel the car hesitate also. When i was driving it home i can notice that my car seems like it has lost half of the power. I didnt gas it all the way, but you can tell by slight acceleration. As for "good-will" i used to know a member that work at that dealer, but he has left. I really dont want to count on "good-will" knowning my luck as of right now. "Knock on wood". the car has never been updated with new plugs. today, i asked for a report, and i had two recalls on the car. one was the tail lights, the other was the spark plug renewal.

it can't hurt trying the dealer. what do you have to lose? either way, you're going to need some major work done.
