Re: FS: obd2 p28 (DaRa_Da_SkAnK)
I am positive it is, it has a p28 bar code on it as well as on the inside of the ecu. Ill take pictures of it if your interested in it. I bought this ecu off of ebay and he said it was from a 96 del sol si with a DOHC engine which im assuming is a b16, i tried plugging it into my d16z6 and the plug isnt the same so its an obd2 ecu. The bar code stamped is 37820-P28-A04. I always thought a obd2 b16 came with a p2p for an ecu but after doing a search on here i have found out that the 96-97 del sol si did come with a obd2 p28.

It's nothing of the sort.
92-95 P28 for a D16Z6

That's the way I understand it, and that follows honda's number scheme, a B16 ecu should be a PR3, PW0, P30 or P2T
-PHiZ
Although 1996 was the first year of OBD2, and the first year of things, can be weird.

Re: (92GuttedHatch)
No need to be a ******** - I'm perfectly aware that the SOHC 96-97 Del Sol Si got a OBD2 P28 because I've seen them. I'm also perfectly aware that the DOHC B16-powered 96-97 Del Sol Vtec got a OBD2A P30, again because I've seen them. I was intending to suggest that regardless of whether you bought an OBD1 or OBD2 P28, it wouldn't run a B16 very happily.
