since the finish on rotas sucks.. thats BAD news...

a majority of the rotas ive seen flake off when you so much as tap them with a wrench trying to take the lugs off.... especially slipstreams

i think any wheel you pay less than $600 for the paint is gonna chip off. rotas cost$400-700 new compared to spoon and all that otherr expense ****$1800-3800.you get what you pay 4.

There is knockoffs of knockoffs of knockoffs and there might be a knockoff to that! Ive seen at least 3 differant knockoffs of the GAB wheels, Ive owned the GT3s.

I have not seen the same rota vs drag wheel side by side but they look very close. I think the color might be a hair off from a rota to a drag. I had a set of GT3s the paint was very durable and my friend with gold drags are also holding up well. I had a set of Rota JSPLs and the paint and clear on the lips were just starting to chip a little only after 2 1/2 years with useing no harsh cleaners and only one winter. I just bought a set of used SSK wheels and the finish seems very cheap. Drag and Rota have a better finish then the SSK just for your info.

Id say the Rota is a better wheel. They make many OEM wheels. Even though the paint is very bad. It chips extremely easily.

Im not going to be an ******* and bash rota but here is my problem, i had a set of c-10s on my old dc4 and the quality was horrible the paint started chipping after a month of driving and there was a orangish tint coming up through the paint (they were white). All in all you get what you pay for if drags are cheaper then rotas then expect a shittier product.
