try aircraft stripper/remover, it can take off valvecover wrinkle finish like its nothing, and i have yet to see a paint it cant get off. its this weird gel that will burn the crap out of your skin if you get it on you. you could always sandblast them also to get it to bare metal.

i was talking about aircraft stripper. doesnt do anything to these wheels. its like a coating or something. not paint. ive used stripper on several wheels and valve covers. i just ended up sandblasting them and sanding them to get rid of the rough finish sand blasting left. thanks tho.

The spray can stripper is not as potent as the can you have to brush the stripper on. Your problem is the wheels are powdercoated. It can be done it just takes good thick coats left on longer than the recommended 15-25 minutes. When I stripped my wheels I left the stripper on over night and then brushed stripper on about 5-6 times.
