What's a good 110v mig welder?
I did a little research already and was thinking of getting a Lincoln 140c. I'm going too use it when replacing rear quarter panels on my civic.
But before I buy one, wouldn't mind hearing a diff. opinion?

lincoln sells direct on ebay. their refurbs run around 399 for a 125 or whatever model was pre 140.
if you want to spend more i like the millers the most but lincoln and hobart have the best deals,

Re: What's a good 110v mig welder?
i just picked up a brand new miller 211mvp. it is the nicest small mig welder i have ever used. i usually use a miller xmt 350 day in and day out & the qualty of the 211 is up there with it. i was a bit skeptical about buying a smaller welder cause we have a miller 140 in our shop that my boss bought new about 2 years ago. we have had nothing but problems with the wire feed being super jerky, & you can never get a decent bead going with it. i guess you should probably see if you can demo a few units & see what you like best.

Re: What's a good 110v mig welder?
thanks you guys, so I've reading online about the welder Capabilities and it's saying it can weld aluminum up to 12ga if you buy spool gun for it. I really never seen anyone weld aluminum with dc current? but then again I'm not sure that's way I'm asking

I've had great luck with my Lincoln Pro Mig 135 for years and years. I actually just picked up, about 8 months ago, a brand new Lincoln 216 power mig 220v unit that beats the pants off of my old miller also. I've seen/had great success with many brands though too. Just research and don't be afraid to let the sellers know you're looking at other models elsewhere too! They'll cut you a deal if they know you're a serious buyer and buying new.
