Default need help, new welder issues

i just got a new welder and am having all sorts of problems, its a inverter.

when i go to weld alu. the tungsten starts to ball up and then get really crazy and will drop off into the puddle, please tell me what im doing wrong.

ive tried red, green, white tungsten. postive and negative post settings.

Make sure you have the welder on AC when you're doing aluminum. What size tungsten do you have and what is your amperage? What thickness aluminum are you trying to weld? It seems to me that you are pushing more current than the tungsten can handle.

Do you have it on DCEP or on AC with the balance all the way to DCEP? what brand and model of welder do you have? What size tungsten and how many amps are you running?

im useing 1/8 tungsten on all colors, ive got 25/75 amp on the wave.. welding some endtanks.. i can try turning down the amps, not sure that will do anything, im useing a foot pedal..

The 1/8" tungsten should be good to about 300 amps, so that's not your issue. Turn your balance all the way up. Make sure you have proper gas flow. Also, how do you sharpen your tungsten? You might be contaminating it when you're sharpening it. What machine are you using?
