Metal Shavings Clogging up the Oil System
Where does the shavings off metal come from? In the oil Pan I located about a Ounce of metal shavings on the pick up. what must of have been the cause of this. The motor was recently used and rebuilt and re sold at a japan manufactor located in so cali

Usually you will fine some random gold specs which are engine bearing. If the motor was rebuilt recently it might have some junk in it left over from the machining process... If its big pieces of metal your f#cked.

i was getting ALOT of shaving in my motor once...
then i found out the thrust washer was in backwards, and i spun all the rods/mains. trashed 1 rod and 4 pistons and the block.

^....No need for anything else to be said....it's fu*ked. Shavings have already probably fused to the bearings and have screwed all your clearances....it's done.
