Please, take no offense when I say this, but that is the worst thing I have ever seen. I would laugh for 20 minutes if I saw that in person installed in a car.

But if it works ok for a while then

heres another rb26det manifold all burns stainless with two 3-1 burns collectors. each runner is 22 1/2 inches long clearance was an issue becuase the motor is in a 300zx it also still has room for a 4 inch dp which will also be made from burns stainless material

Did it cost $8 and take less than an hour to make?

We shouldn't compare manifolds made with Burns stainless parts and collectors to a complete DIY manifold. You didn't make the collectors so it isn't a complete DIY manifold.

But still... Weld els are relatively cheap and versatile things.

you can free up a lot of room if you cut the hard water line near the dist. and reroute it...#10AN weld on bung fits perfectly. if you also reroute the water pump inlet plumbing to in front of the alt you free up more room. this also makes it much easier to swap alts since you dont have to disconnect the hose from the rad to the water pump.

I love it!! HMT 4 LYF lol.

You should have a dyno test with this, $ per hp gained versus full-race? Haha

I'd love to see the results.

You should make a ramhorn or topmount out of fence-post 90 deg. bends, that would REALLY **** people off

yeah, I think you could have done a little better and still been cheap about it... I have never done mudding, but im sure it breaks alot of parts. I think you can get alot better quality and only spend a little more money next time if you do some planning.

...did noone read the part where i said this is just to get boost going? it's not permanent, im building a header kit from racing solutions (got the t3 flange, some bends), waiting on more bends and the 22r header flange from http://www.lcengineering.com which is $32 for the flange, well worth it.

fyi, the car in the butterfly effect in the beginning, is a 22r powered celica from what i can tell, it's got the earlier 22r valve cover, but looks like a fox body.

also, im gonna be spending about $140 or so on this new header

Props for a doing a budget build but thats just a little much. Spend a little more time and at least make it so it flows a little better. I mean would increase hp anyway with a slightly better design. Anyway, let us know how it goes.
