A continuation to the STEVENLO / POLICE nightmare... updated with a VIDEO <<<<

thats a dope hatch....i agree with you 100% without a doubt man....your car sounds good and fast and it is clearly NOT a piece of ****...i mean its salvaged but that doesnt mean its a piece of ****
stevenlo basically just got served straight up....listen to his dumb *** on the phone "i mean your car is basically crap" "i mean, i mean, i mean" was he hallucinating everytime he looked at his own hatch?? he must've thought his black piece of crap was show worthy or something

Based on everything I have read this is what I think happened.
VNtec drove up to make the trade, a deal was made, parts and pink slips were exchanged and everyone is happy and VNtec goes home. I'm sure VNtec knew what he was getting into but he just looked at the car as a new project (I would have not done that trade). Remember VNtec did all of the work on the car on the spot, so he must know how to work on Hondas.
Stevenlo looks at the white hatch and thinks he is getting a perfect car, it looks good, obviously he got the better end of the deal. When he starts it up and it does not run right, due to the ecu, he calls VNtec to ask what the problem is since he does not know much about the mechanical part of the car. When VNtec's phone dies (the worst thing that happened that night) stevenlo panics. Stevenlo now thinks HE got the worst end of the deal. Instead of waiting a day or two to talk it out with VNtec like most level-headed people would, he calls the cops, gets rid of the oink slip belonging to the white hatch and give the cops a story about how he went on a test drive and never came back.
Stevenlo, just admit it. You didn't get the car you thought it would be and you got pissed off. You just probably didn't want to say "you know what VNtec, this car looks alot different in pic's than in real life, I can't do this." So you help out VNtec with some gas and buy him dinner since he made the trip.
I'm sure both of these guys are good people and I hope you both learned your lesson. Sometimes that's what it takes. BTW, always have a charged cell-phone

both parties are dumbasses simply stated. Stevenlo is a dumbass for wanting his old POS back...and Vtecn is completely stupid to even want to trade cars. Furthermore, Vtecn, you're stupid to trade vehicles without the person on the freakin pink slip signing it... you would think that when dealing with a product worth several thousand dollars, you would be careful.

Look, the pink he gave me was a valid one, and it was fully filled out and signed from the previous owner, and the area to fill in for a new owner was all empty. The pink slips information checked out fine, Vin numbers matched, and so did the License plate number. I dont know what more you could really ask for. I mean from now on, i am definately gonna be a lot more careful and make sure i make a bill of sale of some sort. But i just didnt feel the need to when the pink was right there and signed
