2003 RSX Type S (Stock) (Cheap)
Description:
My Girlfriend is selling her 2003 RSX Type S in Premium White Pearl. The car is completely stock inside and out and has never been modded or raced. She has been the only owner and bought it from the dealership in 2003. The car has 103,XXX miles on it that are mostly highway miles. The engine runs great and averages about 30 miles per gallon. The interior and exterior are in great condition with just the normal wear (no major dents, rust or anything). The interior is leather and the audio is the oem bose speaker system with bose subwoofer and 6 disc cd changer. It has always been serviced at the Acura dealership, and has already had the 90K tuneup and all other maintenance. The oil has always been changed with mobil 1 synthetic regularly and filled with premium gas.
Some factory specs:
Engine
The 2003 RSX Type-S received its power from a 2-liter inline four-cylinder engine. This engine had the newer, more advanced version of Honda's VTEC, called I-VTEC. This system pushed this four-cylinder to 200 horsepower at 7,400 rpm and 142 foot-lbs. of torque at 6,000 rpm. The 2-liter was connected to a six-speed manual transmission; there was no option for an automatic transmission.
Fuel
The RSX Type-S was rated at 24 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway, Fitted with a 13.2-gallon fuel tank, the RSX Type-S could travel 316 to 409 miles on a single tank of gas.
Exterior
The 2003 RSX Type-S was classified as a subcompact vehicle. It measured 172.2 inches long, 67.9 inches wide and 55.1 inches high and had a 101.2-inch wheelbase. The RSX had a curb weight -- weight without passengers or cargo -- of 2,767 lbs.
Interior
The RSX had seating for up to five people. It had 37.8 inches of front headroom, 30.1 inches of rear headroom, 43.1 inches of front legroom, 29.2 inches of rear legroom, 52.6 inches of front shoulder room, 51.3 inches of rear shoulder room, 51.1 inches of front hip room and 46.2 inches of rear hip room. It also had room for up to 16 cubic feet of cargo.
Amenities
The cabin of the RSX Type-S came standard with an anti-theft alarm system, cruise control, tilt steering wheel, automatic climate control, power windows/door locks/mirrors/sunroof, air conditioning, leather seats and a Bose AM/FM/Cassette/CD changer audio system with a subwoofer.
Steering and Stability
As a sports car, the RSX Type-S' suspension was highly tuned for cornering. It had front and rear stabilizer bars to prevent excessive body lean in hard corners. The rear suspension was double wishbone, while the front used Macpherson struts. It had disk brakes on all four wheels, the front using ventilated rotors. The car also came standard with a four-wheel anti-lock braking system.

Re: 2003 RSX Type S (Stock) (Cheap)
I am extremely interested in this car! I'm in the process of selling my 2003 WRX so as soon as I can get it sold I'd totally take this off your hands. Have you had any offers yet? My boyfriend and I would like to come down and take a look at it sometime, we live in Cumberland, MD which isn't too far from you all.
Please keep in touch.
