2005 Honda S2000 (White, 72k miles, Georgia) Prefer trades
VIN: JHMAP21465S005792
Location: Suwanee, Georgia (30 mins north of Atlanta)
Means of Contact: JinKim710@charter.net or AIM: JimKim710
Description:
2005 Honda S2000
Grand Prix White on Tan interior
72k well maintained miles
Never been in an accident. All original body panels with vin stickers. Fenders nor ANY body panels have even been removed. Bolts have not been turned on the fenders.
I'd prefer a trade as opposed to a sale due to the fact that I need a car but seeing as the rules state I need an asking price I'll have one set at $18,500.
I bought this car pre-owned from Carey Paul Honda in Georgia a little over a year ago. I meticulously maintained it using Mobil1 Synthetic oil with Mobil 1/K&N Filters, along with Mobil1 in the rear differential every 10k, and GM Syncromesh every 10k.
I did tons of research about the S2000 before I bought it and I read that S2000 engines consume oil. I lucked out by actually finding one that DOES NOT consume a drop of oil between 5k oil changes. The car ALWAYS stays above the top "X" on the dipstick. Needless to say the car has no leaks. Only thing that needs to be done is a cabin microfilter.
Transmission shifts perfectly with no grinds. The clutch does not slip at all. Clutch delay valve has not been removed. Car is 100% stock minus a K&N drop in airbox filter and Modrify convertible top elastic straps.
Tires have great tread and have even wear all across. No camber wear.
Brakes are even with no squeals and no vibrations.
This car has 72k miles because I drive over 30k miles a year. My previous car which was a 2004 G35 Coupe had 90k miles when I sold it in 2006.
Potential traders and buyers are urged to get a pre-buy inspection done as I have nothing to hide.
Will come with a Master key, Spare Key (unused), Valet Key (unused), and 2 remotes (1 unused)
On to the flaws....
1) Car has a door ding on passenger rear 1/4 panel (picture enclosed)
2) Radio Door prongs that hold the door shut have been broken off. I hear the part is a couple of bucks.
3) The car has a tear in the soft top which I repaired and I replaced the elastic straps to Modrify elastic top straps to prevent this from further happening. So far after 15k miles the top repair is still holding up and it has yet to happen again. I hear this is a common problem (picture enclosed)
Price: $18,500. I threw that price out there because I would prefer to only trade but due to forum rules I had to make a price. Don't get me wrong I will sell the car for 18,500 but I prefer a trade for a car with back seats like a 04+ TL, 01+ M3, 05+ 5 series, or something. Depending on the car, cash can be added to the trade. Must be a car newer than 2001.
The car is dirty but here she is :
Repaired soft top with my hand next to it to show size:
Door ding in rear quarter panel :

Re: (tradesalot)
Ouch,
I probably would have if the miles were somewhere closer to my car.
My previous car was an 04 G35 coupe. I miss that car for the back seats.
