2000 Civic SI - All motor B20 Vtec (price drop)
Im selling a 2000 civic si, all motor B20 Vtec.
BLACK!
Its time for something new for me, but it has been a lot of fun.
Miles on body: 144,000
Motor Miles: Came from PasswordJDM, supposedly has around 30,000 and was in great condition. Since then i have put 40,000 on motor.
Cost: $11,500 O.B.O.
When i first got the car, unfortunately my head gasket blew, so thats what made me decide to do to the B20 build since i had some extra cash. at 105,000 miles when i got the car and did the B20 build, I got new head gasket, new timing belt, and new water pump. This car still has A/C and power steering.
Still have papers on the engine build, and also dyno sheets if youd like to see.
Ive put a **** load of money into this, and by a **** load, i mean over $10k... soooo as everyone says, "dont low-ball me." Yes i understand i cant get all my money back out of it. DUH. But im considering how much it would cost the buyer, to buy a 2000 Civic SI, and do a engine build like this, have tuning done, and purchasing other mods like suspension and what not.
Located in Birmingham, Alabama.
Most driving is from work and school, and occasionally to Atlanta, Georgia to see my lady.
Engine Mods:
B16 SI head
B20B block
golden eagle vtec kit
Integra GSR cams
Skunk2 Intake manifold
PasswordJDM carbon fiber intake
Apexi N1 exhaust (has been removed, replaced with factory exhaust)
F1 Spec tri-y header (has been replaced with factory manifold)
ECU:
Tuned on Chrome
Dyno tuned at walker dyno and put down 183whp, and 135 tq.(now the factory exhaust system is back on so probably putting down low 170's)
Trans:
B16 trans (non-LSD)
Fidanza lightweight flywheel
BRAND NEW (installed on 8/23/08) Exedy racing clutch
Wheels & Suspension:
Factory SI wheels
KSport fully adjustable coilovers
Skunk2 Camber kit front & rear.
Lighting:
Has an HID system with 6,000k bulbs. BUT one bulb isnt working. I dono if its the ballast or bulb yet. Sometimes it doesnt come on, and sometimes it does come on but its like its not getting as much power as the other bulb is. Its not as bright.
If anyone knows anything about this, has any advice for this, please let me know.
But not to worry, the lighting system still has a low beam halogen light, so yes you can drive at night.
My overall view of the car:
Engine: 9/10 - I want to say 10/10 but no motor is perfect unless its brand new.
Exterior: 7.5/10 - Has the usual bug splats and rock chips in front bumper. Rock chips in hood. Couple dings and dents in left side fender. A good buffing and waxing job would make this car look great. But other than the front of the car the rest of the body is great. There is NO paint fading anywhere on the car.
Interior - 8.5/10 - Im a non-smoker, carpet is kept clean.
Here are a couple of pics. They are a little old so ill post new pics as soon as i can. I got to get my hands on a camera first though. Mine is broke.
PLEASE EMAIL ME AT prestoncross@designsbypreston.com
Hondatech IM is ok, its just it gets confusing sometimes with so many IM's on the list. So email is kinda better.
BUMP if you view please.

happend to me for a long time...i got the relay kits they sell (actually made my own) so both lights get a regulated amount of power to each and since then have never had a problem
