1991 Honda CRX Si built B18A1 169K $1500 OBO
1991 Honda CRX Si with 169K miles - located in 909 area code
*update* Just found out distributor is dying so it needs to be replaced. Dropped price. Going to be sold as is.
Built B18A1 motor with Wiseco pistons coated on top and skirts, Eagle rods, golden eagle main bearing studs, balanced crank/flywheel, pinned block, ITR oil pump, Moroso 5.5 qt sump, CTR crank pulley, Greddy timing belt, ported head with ceramic coated OEM exhaust valves, bronze guides, Crower springs and titanium retainers, ARP head studs, 4K miles on the newly rebuilt motor. Runs very well. 30ish MPG on the highway 25ish if there's a lot of city driving.
J1 cable transmission with new bearings, new synchros, OBX LSD, LS 5th gear, 4K miles on the bearings, diff and synchros also.
Intermediate shaft, Raxles hybrid axles.
Hasport B-series mounts and shifter linkage
Full Race traction bar
Full Race radiator and fan
Innovate LM-1 Wideband oxygen sensor wired in along with autometer AF gauge
Chipped PM6 ecu with a LS map on it
Rywire OBD-0 to OBD-1 harness available.
Rota Slipstreams - tires have tons of life left.
Eibach prokits on Tokico Illuminas, 4K miles also
new inner and outer tie rods, new lower ball joints, new upper control arm, LCA has energy suspension bushings. 4K miles
new master cylinder - 4K miles
SS brake lines
new carpeting mostly installed, didn't finish because I ran into an issue with the passenger seat. It looks done but the seams behind the seat needs to be finished up.
Si seats, driver's side has the typical damage to the foam/fabric. Passenger's side looks great.
Carbon fiber hood - damaged - with aerocatch hood pins.
new lift struts (if you care)
Shaved door handles with keyless entry system
The bad stuff now: the car was involved in a minor accident with a tow hitch. The headlight and front bulkhead took most of the damage, the hood was damaged in the accident. I patched up the crack. It's fine, but does not look good. Headlights were replaced. There's a small oil leak, probably the oil pan gasket. Car could use a paint job and maybe a new sunroof. One of the passenger seat nut broke off and needs to be welded back in. The climate control unit needs a repair plate. No stereo unit, I don't need one as I'm deaf. No clue about the sound system. The last owner took out his sound stuff and I left it that way. No AC. Interior is mostly okay, just a bit dirty, and the usual seatbelt tear in the door panels and such.
It runs and drives good. I did a lot of preventative maintenance when I did my build. That way so I wouldn't have to worry about any issues along the road for a while. I really like the car, but since the accident, I don't have the time or money to spend on it anymore. So I'm looking to sell it to the best offer. Part it out or fix it up, your choice.
Interior shots can be taken, I need to get the cargo cover out of storage.
