Default S80 to AWD CR-V tranny

Wanted to know if you could put all the gears from a S80 to awd cr-v tranny for better gearing. Including main, counter shafts div.

No you can't. The CR-V transmission has more in common with the H/F transmission than it does with a B series transmission.

So would it be better just to keep the tranny like that. Or are there shorter gears in H or F series

You can. It just takes some work and creative engineering. LOL

HondaBull has my crv transmission apart right now and we are doing an LS 1-2 gear/sleeve/syncro set, crv 3rd, gsr 4th, and the crv 5th. But in order to get it all in there we have had to have numerous things machined and are also needing to modify the 1-2 shifter fork. Once it is completed and in the car running, I believe he is going to be making a thread about it with lots of pics and info.
