Clutch issues, slips into 4th, lol
I have been really easy on my baby for like 6 months now, but it will slip shifting hard into any gear, and hard to put into the low gears. The clutch only engages in the last inch or two of the pedal, is my disc gone?
For reference i had tranny rebuilt and clutch replaced almost a year ago. This included flywheel clutch kit, all bearings and 2 forks, and with redline synthetic fluid. "Tranny Specialist" said i should just go with an oem clutch after i told him my d16y7 was boosted with almost 200hp. Was this BS? im starting to think so, but the last time i had a stage 3 in there is chomped on my f-ing flywheel.
Before i drop the tranny, i would like to have all parts needed, so im only going to replace the clutch if i absolutely think its the problem. Is it the clutch? Also, i need advice as to what clutch to go with next time if it need be replaced.
Thanks for any help!!!

Re: Clutch issues, slips into 4th, lol
well since the original post, ive adjusted the pedal and that fixed the engagement into the middle of the total movement of the pedal. its still only engages during a chosen few inches, it still seems a little funny, but ive shifted at 5k rpms very fast from 1st to 2nd and no noticeable slipping occurred.
Still an oem clutch tho. if no one replies i may just buy a stage 1 or 2 clutch and go from there.
