hey what's going on guys got a 95 GSR and pretty much my car won't go into gear while the car is on but the car goes into gear with the car is off I tried starting the car in first gear the car moves forward but you know when I try to put the car into gear from neutral while the Car is on it doesn't engage it has complete lockout try bleeding the clutch slave and change the slave master cylinder and still having the same problem even change transmission still have the same problem so I'm assuming it's a pressure plate what do you think

If u changed the transmission then it's the clutch set up some where ... U should always check them when u can ... Also check for proper movement length of the slave cylinder and fork... Or u got to bad transmissions lol the easiest way is to get under the car with the car off and check for prop movement off all the components

True i ordered a new exedy clutch kit so wen it get here im gonna post up a vid to let u guys see whats going on

This can easily be air in the line. Just look if the slave cylinder is moving. If it is its likely not the pressure plate but an air pocket near the rubber reservoir hose that is being a bitch to get out.

You can try squeezing the rubber reservoir hose while someone pumps the clutch pedal. See if you can get bubbles to come up through the reservoir.

Then do a full bleed again. Its cheaper to waste $10 on a big bottle of brake fluid than to pull the clutch again.

Hey bro update i fixed the problem turns out i had a pinch in my clutch line plus the pressure plate was done so i had changed the clutch line with a steel braided. Clutch line from blackworks and new clutch from Exedy and all my probs are solved

ohh, i might change the clutch and flywheel, its about time to change.


nope i haven't...2 days prior i raced another car and got up to 110MPH...but it drove fine afterwards
