WTF is going on .... Air being pushed out the valve cover
I did a valve adjustment just recently and when I go to open the oil filler cap mad air rushes out and makes a deep deep noise. Its pretty loud too. It hadnt done this before. Anyone Know whats goin on ? BTW the valve adjustment cut back my valve train noise so its to spec.

that's from the movement of the pistons going up and down creating pressure this normal also this is some blow-by that passes thru the rings (depending on the condition of the rings), when you see an engine leaking oil past oil seals first suspect would be the pcv valve went they get clogged there's no place for that POSITIVE CRANKCASE to VENTILATE(VENTILATION) PCV.

No, if the PCV valve gets clogged up the presure should vent out of the PCV breather tube into the air intake tube. Presure should not build up in the engine.

Are you taking your oil cap off while the engine is running? if so, why? and yes, you should not be getting this, at least check your valve cover breather hose and make sure it flows air. If its not that its your factory PCV system. Search around here for more info on that.

Ok, you go ahead and plug/cap your pcv valve and you'll see what I mean just give it some time.

simple test shake your pcv valve and shake it if it sounds like a rattle its good if not time for a new pcv if its good then u probably got good blow by and could be more serious than i thought but from what u put i cant really tell what the problem is
