Will acura and civic wiring interact?
I have bought a 1994 engine harness. I need a harness for under the dash that will connect to the ecu and the engine harness. I've found a 94 acura harness, but I don't know if I can plug them both together and have them both work. Does anyone know if a 94 acura integra dash sub harness will work with a 94 civic engine harness?

There are dramatic differences between the two... instrumentation and climate control are two of the obvious ones. You will be better served to find a dash/cabin harnessfrom the same model year/trim vehicle that you have to make the transition painless.

From what i've seen...all obd1 harnesses are the same...except that some may have extra wires...i.e. vtec vs non-vtec...the solenoid wire will be in the vtec harness but the nonvtec harness will have just the hole there for you to add vtec...so idk why you would need to replace the entire dash harness if all you need is the engine harness to plug up to the ecu...as long as the engine plugs, plug up with your ecu and strut tower connectors...you shouldnt have to do the dash harness...but ey who am i to know
