Searched...H22 swap in EG...hella problems!!!
Got a 92 Si EG hatch with an h22a swap with a p13 ecu and we are having some mind boggling problems...
1) Got it to idle fine
2) When engine is warm, the rpm's surge to 2500
3) Has no power
4) Minor stumble through rpm range (hesitation)
5) 4 CEL's:
1 HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (HO2S)
10 INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE (IAT)
14 IDLE AIR CONTROL VALVE (IACV)
23 KNOCK SENSOR (KS)
IACV has been cleaned, coolant is flowing thought the IACV...
Open to all and any help...very very needed
TIA

what model eg? that will help w/ the O2 problem
get another IACV. yours is bad.
Wire the knock sensor
just use a b-series IAT
check out this thread as well

get a multimeter out and check the continuity between the wires at the sensor and at the ecu. to the knocksenor, IAT, O2 sensor wires. If you have everything plugged in, either a sensor problem or a wiring problem. replace the IACV to see if that fixes your problem. If it does not, its a wiring issue.
You can get the pinouts from here... https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1171263

Check continuity...all are ok...Dont see this being a wiring problem, since we used the engine harness that came with the swap, and plugged it into our chassis harness for the EG...Can we test the iacv?

if you are getting a check engine light code for O2 sensor, IAT, IACV, Knock
Its one of 2 things. wiring issue or sensor malfunction (replace the sensor)

Are you kidding me. You wanted help, you got it. not my problem the person who owns the car doesn't want to fix it.
why do i even bother helping people when they have no intent of even doing anything about it.

iat, iacv, and ks are all the same style plug, do you have them mixed up? let me test myself here without going out and looking. I believe the iacv is blue and blk/yel, ks is a single wire red/blu

that was my guess... i had the same symptoms as you and that was the problem in the end... but if your sure there right then i dunno what to telll you other than the sensors bad.
BUT
if its the sensor off of whatever motor you had in there before and it WORKED then its DEFINIETLY a wiring issue... it wont hurt to switch them up and see what happens... (actually it will... if you leave it that way lol ...but who knows, they could already be on wrong) worth a try IMO
let us know whats up
goodluck

DID YOU SKIP THAT STEP???
That will show you if you have the right connector on the correct sensor. And will also tell you if your wiring is correct.
