Default New Clutch, Bearing, Flywheel, Shifter. Tried Stuff but Still Hard to Shift. Any Ideas?

Here's the low down:

- 1998 Integra w/ 125K Miles
- New Clutchmasters Stage 3 Clutch (Now has about 10K)
- New Clutchmasters Throw Out Bearing
- New ACT StreetLite Flywheel (Now has about 10K)
- Valvoline SynPower Brake Fluid for Clutch Fluid
- Short Shifter (OBX brand i think) w/ Polyurethane Bushings

Problem:

After the new clutch install, the clutch was broken as specified by Clutchmasters and the fluid was bled properly. The clutch engages about 1 inch up from the floor of the car (very quick engagement). Been driven fine for about 10K miles with no problems until now. Not sure if its the bitter cold or if something else is the cause but its been really tough to get the shifter into gear. I literally have to forced the shifter into gear sometimes.

Things I Checked (After Searching):

- Fluid is level at the mid point between the min and max on the clutch reservoir.
- The lower shifter linkage bolt isn't over tightened (which some say may cause shifter difficulties).

Do I need a new transmission? new Master Cylinder?

Any other ideas guys? Thanks guys.

Clutch pedal just fell to the floor and didn't come back up. Need new Clutch Master Cylinder? Pumped it several times, kinda coming back.

What oil is in tranny ? Weather gets cold, oil thickens up.....used to happen to me all the time, it would get a notchy feel till it warmed up when it was like 0 degrees out. If nothing else and it bother s you that much try Pennzoil sync mesh, get it at autozone, same as gm sync mesh down to the part number.

No visible leaks on the inside by the master cylinder and no leaks in the engine bay.

That seems too thick. I swear by Honda MTF, and you can use regular 10w30 if you need a cheaper alternative. As for your clutch problems, if you're sure the clutch MC and slave aren't bad or on their way out, you can try adjusted the rod that connects the MC to the pedal to play with the engagement point a little. Just be careful not to adjust it so far that the throwout bearing is rubbing against the pressure plate without the clutch pedal depressed. If your clutch MC and slave are the originals with 125k miles on them, you might want to consider replacing them even if they look visibly ok. Stock replacements for both parts shouldn't cost more than about $50 depending on where you get them.

I think you tightened your shifter too tight. My buddy had the same problem. Ended up tightening the bottom part of the shifter too tight.

Edit.

Put a new slave cylinder in it.
