Mild rebuild advice
Well Im doing a mild b20b rebuild (b20z pistons and cams)
Really only questions is the piston removal, head is already off. Pop off the rod caps and up through the top right? Cant feel any sort of ridge on the top of the cylinder (low mile jdm b20b) and still has original hone marks. Im basically just switching pistons and new rings.
Thanks

Re: Mild rebuild advice
indeed, you go through the top. in my haynes manual it reccomended to use some rubber hose over the rod bolts so you dont scratch the cylander walls. i thought it was a good idea and thought id share. i would also reccomend honing the cylanders so the new rings will seat
