Loud clicking/ticking sound, h23 valvetrain?
Just finished up and started my h23, and i noticed when the engine gets warm it produces a loud and clear ticking wich seems to be coming from the head.
I adjusted valve lash with the engine out of the car, maybe i didnt triple check correctly tough.. Also, i read about LMA's but i have a 00 head with spring type lma.
Other than that, got any clue?
I shot a quick video, the sound does not come out quite as clear as in person, you should be able to notice the high pitched ticking around 35 seconds in the vid. The engine "sounds" noisy but except for that loud ticking (which i can hear with hood closed) the rest is normal (well, at least from my experience with hondas)

You have a timing belt tension issue, you can hear the belt whine, fix that too.
Did you check valve lash at the valve tip to rocker, or cam lobe to rocker?
What parts are in the head, complete list.

Thanks for your reply!
I will loosen the belt a little, but i have a manual tensioner, would you know what's a proper belt deflection for those engines?
As for the valve lash, it was measured at cam lobe to rocker.
No special parts in head, stock springs/cams
