Just bought my B18c GSR..need some ideas
So i just ordered my B18 GSR as my swap motor of choice. LS/VTEC started having problems so i just decided to swap for fresh with the B18c instead of rebuild. Came out much cheaper this way.
Now i am just looking for some ideas. The motor is coming bone stock and i am just looking to make around 250-300 whp
I will be moving over some existing mods from my old motor, so to start i will have:
B18C GSR VTEC OBD2
Cold Air
AEM fuel rail
Fuel Regulator
DC Headers
DC Catback exhuast
Any Ideas for my goal.

first off ya should get rid of everything dc on this build>
and 300whp should be a lot easier to get with boost. I think 8 to 10 is safe on stock gsr
but id like to see something like 12-15 // your going to need to upgrade fuel systems .. and also like mentioned with mouabb18 you are going to need good tune.
going with boost shouldnt be to hard to get 250 hp

drop new pistons and rods in and boost it to 12psi . it'll be a great daily driver and you'll be able to rip on it too. easiest was to run that kinda boost it just to buy a good kit that'll come with everything you need

look up a lot more information about turbos before you do anything. different psi will mean different things on different systems. turbos require some maintenance and you have to know how to fix things yourself is something goes wrong on the road somewhere and you are stranded.
and if you go turbo you will need to get rid of your header and intake anyways so its ultimately up to you.
