JDM H22A questions
Okay, search hasn't turned up crap, and nothing I've tried works or makes sense.
First: The engine is 92-95 era and it needs a new distributor cap . The 96 Integra GSR cap doesn't fit . The USDM H22A does, but it's external coil . Purportedly the 92-95 Civic VX is identical to the 96 Integra GSR, which makes me wonder how the H22 Civic boys got their motors running.
So, STILL no cap , and I really, REALLY don't want to wire up an external system in the blind. I want this sucker RUNNING FIRST.
Next up, we have the beloved EVAP canister and related purge valve. Lovely . Even more lovely since the purge valve wiring is gone . Yes, gone . As in 'never there, ever' gone . Maybe I've got the wrong wires. Once I check my book, I'll toss in a description.
Lastly, 'Electrical Load Detector'? I already asked this one and no one seems to know. WHERE DOES THIS WIRE GO? Unless I hear otherwise, it's going to be left disconnected when I turn the key. Does it get 12V+ or what? That's what it sounds like...
I'm just waiting for something to blow up. Or catch on fire. Or both.
