I have a '90 Integra with a stock B18A. It has 75k miles on it and usually runs pretty well, but it's time for a tune-up. Should I try one of those fuel system cleaners, or is there no need to? I usually use about 1/2 - 3/4 a tank of gas per week...

And if it's a good idea to use one, which one is best? Should I use it before or after I change my fuel filter?

Use the brand Gumout Regain...its yellow clear...put one in when the tank is empty and then fill it up and that sohld do something for your car since it has 75K miles...laters

I have had really good results with Techron concentrate. This stuff works great on injectors that are sticking.

Gumout Regane works pretty damn good in my opinion. Others seem to think so also. Its not to expensive either.

have your injectors sent in for an ultrasound bath to clean them. using intank fuel system cleaners dont do crap. they all are made with petroleum distillates which vaporise at room temperature... thus will vaporise and do you no good. the only way would be to drop in a bottle, fill up the tank, then drive the car nonstop until you're tank is empty to get any true effect.

you can get some Seafoam or B12 Chemtool and suck it in thru the PCV while the motor is running to clean everything, but it's not reccommended on a high mileage car that has never had that done before, as it will clean EVERYTHING, including the removal of carbon and zinc buildup you have filling any pits or scratches, thus resulting in possible compression loss.

just get your injectors soaked.
