Icon3 Fuel Pump Problems..

okay HT..
I cannot figure out whats wrong with this things so maybe you guys can give me some input.. i have a 96 ek coupe i recently just redid the motor and the front end.. Soo my problem is that my fuel pump will not prime i have searched Ht for days so far until i decided to post.. The main relay works the fuel pump fuse is okay and the grounds are all good, but yet there is no power going to my pump what so ever...?? Has anybody else had this problem or maybe no what to do or at least give me an idea of where to start..

break out the wiring diagram and a dmm. If there is no voltage at the pump check the relay before it. Check that it has power going in and going out.

i dont have any of the wiring diagrams until i go back to work and get them off of mitchell.. i was thinking i should just hard wire the fuel pump.. any thoughts on that?

doing that will only tell you if the pump is good or not. I personally hate ghetto rigged cars.

honestly i do also.. but i needa way to get to your.. you know.. and until i can get the money to do it right i gotta do what i gotta do.. but i did download the wiring diagrams and i traced the fuses and every.. there all good just no power to the pump.. i mean how many things can possibly effect the fuel pump.. i kno 4.. but im hoping 1 of them isnt really the problem.

How do you know the fuel pump itself is still working?

connected it str8 to the battery to make sure it wasnt F'd up.. but then i tested the wires going to the fuel pump and no go on voltage..

i fixed it.. the problem was my kill switch.. it was shorted.. thank you guys for all the help..
