Dyno Tuning in Dallas or Austin area?
Just hoping I could get some recommendations on places to get my GSR tuned in either the Austin or Dallas areas of Texas. At this point, I mainly want to get my air/fuel tuned so I'm not running too lean or rich.
I've never been to a dyno... How many runs do you think it will take and how much should I expect to pay? do most places hook up a wideband sensor? If it helps any, I have skunk2 stage1s with adjustable gears, b&m fpr+gauge, vafc, and i/h/e (see sig for more detail)....I'm slowly going the na route. tia

I'd also recommend Philip@Intercrew Auto Salon. Although I've never had my car dynoed, he did my B16 swap. He is a great guy, and will help you out the best that he can.

Thanks guys. I called up both stores and in case anyone else wanted to know these are their rates to do a full tuning session with wideband o2:
Intercrew 200$ + valve cover half-moon cuts 45$ ( they say you have to have it cut)
Jotech - 250$ - they let you borrow a cut valve cover.
They both seemed really nice... the guy at Jotech seemed a bit more professional, at least over the phone. Can anyone else that vouch for either stores? I'm a bit torn between the two.

I haven't been to either, but I would say that Jotech has a bigger name (i.e been around longer w/ good results). you can also go to protech in austin, but I have heard lot's of bad word of mouth. I can't speak from esperience though-just hearsay.

I got my car/Hondata tuned by Phillp at InterCrew and i must say that i am disappointed by the service. He told me everything was cool and told it was ready for street driving and was a perfect A/F Ratio. But when i went to tony for something else, he was checking out my car and told me i was detonating(sp?) above 6600 rpms. When i got back to california another respectable tuner told me the same thing. So i would not recommend Phillip at InterCrew. Also, only incase people wanted to know i picked the car up in the morning from InterCrew and drove straight to Jotech to get my new clutched installed. At the time Jotech did not tune Hondata, now they do.

id hate to bring up an old thread but i tried contacting phillip and to my surprise every number in google is no longer in service. Does this business even exist any more?
and if not where in the Dallas metroplex area can I get my car tuned? any one know i need this done asap. I prefer someone whose not expensive as hell and does good work with a good reputation.
