Doing a parasitic draw test on my 2000 civic si with constant 115 milliamps draw :(
OK! so after years of having problems with my battery going dead, today i decided to do a parasitic draw test on my 2000 civic si. i pulled each fuse 1 at a time but the multimiter stayed around the 115 milliamps range until i pulled out the radio fuse and went down to 105 milliamps which isn't a huge difference. Then, i deided to pull the radio, door lock unit/roof and interior light fuse all together at the same time but the multimiter only went down to 85 milliamps which still way too much. i also pulled all the aftermarker alarm fuses and no luck. at the end, i unscrewed the 40A ignition fuse under the engine bay and the multimiter finally read 0 milliamps. in conclusion, i figured that the draw must be coming from the ignition area but not sure where any help will be appreciated =D

Start by using a 12V test light instead of the meter, [meter has no load].
The connection is the same, disconnect a batt. lead and install test light in series.
Pull fuses until test light goes out.94

Found the problem already.
Was my aftermarket autometer tach.
I pulled out the fuse and the multimeter read 39 Milliamps. So, there you go =D

Just did this test & got .035 on the 20m/20a setting.
Is that low or is something draining my battery?
