Car sputters and misfires when given gas, please help.
low down: 99 hatch, jdm b18c. has been running great until last night. changed plugs and wires a week ago. both NGK, plugs gapped to .052. when i go to give it gas, it starts sputtering and cutting out. i'm really at a loss here and any help would be greatly appriciated.

Check the dizzy and make sure there is no corrosion buildup inside of it around your contacts.
I went through a series of issues with my AEM EMS burning up my ignition coils and it did the same thing. So if you know anyone with an extra ignition coil (or a complete dizzy for that matter) you could swap it out and see if the problem goes away. If you do swap the dizzy, just remember to mark it's timing location so you don't have to re-time it when you swap back.
I also had this issue due to a plugged up fuel filter. When was the last time you changed your fuel filter? Fuel pump?

i was thinking it could be the fuel filter. drove it around for a little bit and it only happens sparatically. i will check out the dizzy and ignition coil also. thanks for the help. i'll post the results when i figure it out.
