B20v in eg
Want to swap b20b block and b16 head but I don't know what harness to use or what computer to use , people saying I have to use my d series harness and get a obd1 distributer , injectors And alternator and wire up VTec with a chipped p28 , I'm also hearing I have to use a b16 harness all the way to the ecu and use a obd2 step down ,

Re: B20v in eg
really doesnt matter what harness you use...obd1 harness = obd1 distributor, injectors, and alternator... obd2 harness = obd2 distributor, injectors, and alternator... all depends on what you already have really. if you have a eg, all you need is a obd1 ecu, no need for a jumper harness. and obviously any obd1 vtec ecu or chipped at that

No he's saying is if you already have a obd1 which we're assuming you already do because you have an EG, then all you need is obd1 components such add injectors, dizzy, etc. if the wire harness is a non vtec then you have to wire vtec yourself, if it's vtec harness then you're good all you need is a chipped p28 with a base map.
