98 Civic incremental mech. rotary encoder
Need schematic or max values for the five pin encoder...really the three pins for volume adjustment w/ middle pin assuming to be +grd.
Can't find original incremental mech. rotary encoder or have to buy a 1000 of 'em!

Re: 98 Civic incremental mech. rotary encoder
On the faceplate on a radio. This is probably in the wrong section.
The 96-98 civic factory OEM stereo has a rotary encoder **** made by Alps (Alpine).
We are both looking for a replacement component to solder in place. I have two face plates that have failed already, and I'm sick of swapping the entire deck, so I'm looking to get something that is a permanent fix. I want to keep my unit OEM.
