Squeaking noise when turning steering wheel
I have a 99 hatchback. When i turn the steering wheel to left and right alittle i hear a squeaking noise coming from the front passenger side tire area.I took off the tire and checked the ball joints,cv boots, tie rods and everything looks good. Idk what the problem is could it be the steering knuckle or something else? Has anybody had this problem?

Mine does it not too, i do believe its the struts. Since I had mine almost slammed on stock struts, they blew and now squeak, push down on your car in the front and see if the suspension squeaks as you do so.

Yeah its not balljoints, cause I replaced all of mine about 2 months ago! I was thinking struts also, I am going to get all new suspension but I have to get some advice on here first lol

Re: Squeaking noise when turning steering wheel
My lower ball was bad when I took off the hub so I changed the upper and lower ball joints on both sides of my car.And the squeaking noise went away. I have function and forms type 2 setup on my car so I know it's not my struts. Thanks for the help guys. Aloha.
